World Issues

One major problem in our world today is poverty. There are many cities throughout the world that are just so overpopulated people can't find jobs or homes and are therefore forced into their state of poverty. In some cases, it is a result of the people themselves being lazy and not wanting to work, but in others it is the fact that people are working and are not being paid appropriately or it could be a result of the government in that country. The fact that is that way too many people are poor and have no money for sufficient food and cannot live properly. The result is that 25 000 children die every day around the world. These are people that have been forced to suffer and with the state they're in, it is almost impossible for them to improve their conditions. As can be seen, this is a major issue throughout the world and we as a country with power must do more to help these poverty ridden people.

Teen Life

The teen portion of our lives can be extremely difficult and stressful. There are, obviously, many issues that teens are forced to face, but one of the most difficult is peer pressure. The teen part of a person's life is where people must make decisions that may be right in their eyes, but wrong in the eyes of others. When making these decisions it is almost impossible for people to not listen to what their friends have to say. This peer pressure can influence teens in either the right or wrong way and the teens must be careful not to fall into the wrong crowd. The way that teens seem to divide into cliques makes life even harder. Teens will do almost anything to fit in with the peers that they admire and this can lead them in the wrong direction. Overall, I think that peer pressure is possibly the hardest issue that teens face and it is something that can define the rest of their lives.

Be the Teacher

If I were the teacher I think that I would get frustrated and angry very easily because of the amount of students that do absolutely nothing the entire class. I feel that this class can be very efficient when working properly but the problem is that most of the time the necessary work ethic is not present and is replaced by disrespect. I think that this is really the main problem with our class is that there is the possibility of being decent, but we never really behave up to those standards. This is really the problem for teachers because it is very annoying.

Personally, I have no idea how would deal with our class. It would be incredibly frustrating and it seems almost impossible to make some students work. I would try my best to find a way to make students work, but really I have no idea how to do this.

Hero

A hero, in my mind, is somebody that does great things without craving recognition. For example, firefighters and police officers save people's lives everyday, but they are never recognized for it. These people are model citizens of our society and are the people that should be honoured, but they are not. They exemplify the true qualities of a hero: bravery, honesty, and good natured. They are people that are helping the world one step at a time and are making our trouble ridden world a better place.
